Crushing the Cookies - A food processor is the easiest way to make fine cookie crumbs but a zip top bag and rolling pin works well too.
Forming the Crust - A flat bottomed glass or cup helps in firmly packing the crumb mixture into the bottom of the pan. For the sides, use the glass to press the crumb mixture against the side of pan while placing a finger along the top of the crumbs to pack them down level with the top of the pan.
Cool the Crust - The crust will be soft when removed from the oven. It will crisp and firm up as it cools. Cool the crust completely before filling it. That’s how easy a Gluten Free Vanilla Wafer Pie Crust is! Look for a box of these cookies the next time you’re shopping and pick up a box.
