Whipped Coffee

Whipped Coffee Dessert is perfect for satisfying that after dinner craving for something sweet alongside a cup of coffee.  Make this easy recipe before dinner and it’s ready when the meal is finished.

Whipped Coffee Dessert – What is it?

This Whipped Coffee Dessert is not Dalgona Coffee and it’s not Coffee Whipped Cream. I think it’s a nice mix of the two. It’s a sweet recipe that’s creamy, easy to make, and gluten free.

The Ingredients

The ingredients for this recipe are minimal.  They’re easy to find and inexpensive. This is what you need for the recipe.

Coffee – I like this cold brew brand. Any brewed coffee will work. Use the little bit left from your morning coffee or your favorite flavored.

Heavy Cream – Use heavy cream or whipping cream for this recipe.

Mini Marshmallows – I like the mini marshmallows for this recipe. It only takes a few seconds to soften them up. They’re also the type I usually have in the pantry.

Vanilla Extract – I find that vanilla extract enhances the flavor, but feel free to leave this out if you want.

  • Use room temperature or cold coffee.
  • Try different coffee strengths or flavors for a different taste.
  • Use a whisk when mixing the marshmallows and coffee. It will take a couple minutes but they will dissolve.
  • Don’t skip cooling the mixture! A cold mixture keeps your whipped cream from melting.
  • Freezing your beaters before whipping the cream helps it whip up faster.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the coffee mixture so it stays creamy.
  • Top the whipped coffee dessert with crushed chocolate covered espresso beans or chocolate chips.
