Ingredients

  • 5 Cups Honey Nut Cheerios Crushed in a Food Processor down to 2 cups crumbs
  • 1 14 oz Can Condensed Milk
  • 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • tsp Fine Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  • Lightly spray an 8x8” or 9x9” Pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Using a food processor, process the Honey Nut Cheerios into fine crumbs. You’ll have about 2 cups of crumbs after they are processed. It may be a little more than 2 cups. It’s ok to use them.
  • Place the Cheerios crumbs into a large bowl.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. The dough will be thick.
  • Press the dough into the pan and even it out using damp hands.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on the edges and a toothpick comes out dry when inserted into the brownies.
  • Cool and cut into squares.
  • Store in an airtight container.

How to Make Cheerios Brownies Your Way
  • Add Nuts – Try adding a cup of Chopped Pecans or Walnuts
  • Swap the Chips – Are Semi-Sweet Chips not your thing? Try Milk Chocolate, Butterscotch or White Chocolate Chips instead.
  • Not Enough Chips – So you want more chips in your brownies? Add them. What’s the worst thing that can happen? You get more chocolate?
