- 1 Tbs. Chili Powder
- 2 tsp. Cumin
- ¾ tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp. Onion Powder
- ¼ tsp. Black Pepper
- ⅛ tsp. Dried Oregano
This recipe is mix and go but I do have a couple tips for you.
- The Chili Powder – I use a mild chili powder blend that comes from the store. It’s inexpensive and you probably have a jar in your cabinet. You could also use a specific chili powder such as Ancho if you wanted to.
- Heat Level – For families that like spicier foods, add some cayenne pepper to the mix.
How Much Does the Recipe Make
- This recipe makes just over 2 Tablespoons of mix.
- It is enough seasoning for 1 ½ - 2 pounds of chicken.
- If you’re using it for taco seasoning it will work with 1 ½ - 2 pounds of ground beef. After browning your beef, add the seasoning and 2/3 cup water and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
