- ½ Cup Unsalted Butter Melted
- 2 3.4 oz pkgs Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
- 3 Cups Milk
- 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened

Finely crush sandwich cookies in a food processor or use another method, reserving ½ cup of the crumbs for topping the dessert.
In a medium sized bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and melted butter.
Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a 13x9 baking dish.
Place baking dish into the refrigerator so the crust can set up while the filling is prepared
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese and vanilla pudding mix using an electric mixer.
Slowly add the milk to the cream cheese and pudding continuing to mix until thoroughly combined.
Fold in the whipped topping by hand until only a few white streaks of whipped topping are visible.
Pour the mixture into prepared crust.
Sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs evenly over the dessert.
Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour until the filling and crust set up.
Serve and enjoy
- A food processor makes quick work out of making cookie crumbs, but other methods such as placing the cookies in a zip top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin works as well.
- Mixing the cream cheese and pudding together before slowly mixing in the milk keeps the mixture from splattering too much.
- Folding in the whipped topping by hand keeps the dessert light and airy.
- Sprinkling the cookie crumbs by hand allows for even coverage on top of the dessert.
- Swap out the vanilla pudding for chocolate for a different taste and recipe.
