  • 3 Cups Milk

  • In a medium sized bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and melted butter.
  • Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a 13x9 baking dish.
  • Place baking dish into the refrigerator so the crust can set up while the filling is prepared
  • In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese and vanilla pudding mix using an electric mixer.
  • Slowly add the milk to the cream cheese and pudding continuing to mix until thoroughly combined.
  • Fold in the whipped topping by hand until only a few white streaks of whipped topping are visible.

Notes

  • A food processor makes quick work out of making cookie crumbs, but other methods such as placing the cookies in a zip top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin works as well.
  • Mixing the cream cheese and pudding together before slowly mixing in the milk keeps the mixture from splattering too much.
  • Folding in the whipped topping by hand keeps the dessert light and airy.
  • Sprinkling the cookie crumbs by hand allows for even coverage on top of the dessert.
  • Swap out the vanilla pudding for chocolate for a different taste and recipe.
