Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Cups Water
  • ¾ Cup White Rice
  • 1 ½ Tbs. Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbs. Dried Minced Onion
  • ½ tsp Ground Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Fine Salt
  • tsp Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  • Add the water to a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
  • Add the Olive Oil, Rice and remaining ingredients.
  • Cover, reduce to low and simmer for 17-20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed
  • Fluff rice with a fork and serve

Notes

  • Rice - Use White, Jasmine or Basmati Rice
  • Spices - Adjust the spice amount to your taste. More black pepper for a heat, less turmeric for a lighter color. It all works.
