- 1 15 oz. Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix
- 2 Cups Applesauce
- 1 Cup Apple, Peeled and Chopped
- 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- ½ tsp. Ground Nutmeg
- ¼ tsp. Ground Ginger
- ¼ tsp. Allspice Or Cloves
- ½ Cup Dried Cranberries or Raisins, optional
- ½ Cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans, optional
Grease a muffin pan or line with paper liners
Whisk the cake mix and spices together thoroughly.
Add the applesauce, chopped apples, and any mix-ins, if using, and mix thoroughly.
Fill each muffin tin ¾ full.
Bake at 350ºF for 20 - 25 minutes until cooked through and a toothpick comes out clean.
- If using muffin liners, cooled muffins will come out of the liners more easily than warm muffins.
- You may get more than 12 muffins depending on how large your muffins are and if you use mix ins.
