- 4-5 Unpeeled Russet (Idaho) Potatoes
Wash and Dry Potatoes
Using a fork, prick holes in the potato in multiple places.
Places potatoes on air fryer cooking rack or basket.
Set Air Fryer to 400ºF
Set Air Fryer cooking time to 40 minutes and start cooking.
After cooking time is complete, check potatoes for doneness.
Split open the potatoes and add your favorite toppings such as butter, sour cream, shredded, and chives.
- Thoroughly rinse and dry them. .
- Take a fork and prick some holes throughout the spud. This allows steam to escape.
- Do not oil and salt them prior to cooking unless you are going to eat the skin. They cook fine without being oiled. It also makes cleanup easier.
- Air Fryer cooking times vary some, adjust the cooking time up or down as needed. They are done when you can insert a paring knife in and out of it without much resistance.
How to Reheat Baked Potatoes in the Air Fryer
- Set the temperature on the air fryer to 400º
- Heat the potato for 4-5 minutes in the air fryer until it’s hot.
